AquaTouch Water Chemistry Controller

The Dinotec AquaTouch belongs to the latest generation of measuring, control and dosing systems. The device, developed on the basis of state-of-the-art bus technology, combines functionality, reliable and modern measuring, control and dosing technology, intuitive operation and simple monitoring in one system. Depending on requirements, it is possible to integrate the measurement and control for up to three pools in the system. Additional functional units are simply added to the control as new module and connected to the field bus.The AquaTouch system was developed together with professional users, and is tailored to the requirements of swimming operators, plant engineers, designers and water technicians.  Wherever the water quality is of particular importance, the AquaTouch is used. Depending on the configuration, the system measures and controls pH, free chlorine, total chlorine, redox potential (ORP), conductivity and temperature. The AquaTouch is flexible und freely scalable, it grows in line with the requirement of the operator.

The potentiostatic measurement (3-electrode principle) is one of the best and leading measurement methods on the market and is characterized by a high stability of zero point and measured value.  A Dinotec chlorine sensor can be serviced in about 2 minutes.  Another benefit is it automatically compensates for fluctuations in the system low rate to ensure rock solid accuracy and consistency.  Wireless connection capability allows for remote monitoring and editing via the mobile app.

WMX Mag-Flowmeter

The WMX Series Magmeter is a battery powered, flanged flowmeter that uses a magnetic field to measure flow very accurately with no moving parts. It’s unaffected by debris in the water and does not scale up or get plugged like traditional flowmeters. They work well installed between the pump and filter so you can measure flow even during a backwash. Only 2 pipe diameters of straight pipe are required before the flowmeter for accurate measurement.

WMP Mag-Flowmeter

The WMP Series Mag-Flowmeter is a battery powered flowmeter that uses a magnetic field to measure flow very accurately with no moving parts. It’s unaffected by debris in the water and does not scale up or get plugged like traditional flowmeters. They work well installed between the pump and filter so you can measure flow even during a backwash. The WMP series comes with a threaded fitting kit, only 2 pipe diameters of straight pipe are required before the flowmeter for accurate measurement.

HydroQuant Photometric Test Kit

The HydroQuant test kits by WAPOTEC are the most powerful portable test kits available to pool operators.  The HydroQuant 701 tests all 6 standard parameters plus chlorine dioxide (oxidizer) and aluminum (to ensure proper flocculation).    This kit is very accurate, and easy to use.  It can be easily cleaned & calibrated for a long service life.

HydroXan

The use of a non-chlorine oxidizer is very important for enhancing water quality. Using chlorine alone results in the formation of unpleasant and unhealthy byproducts from the inefficient oxidation of bather waste in the water. HydroXan is a clean oxidizer that works with chlorine for an efficient oxidization treatment of swimming pool and whirlpool water.  The result is improved water and air quality for your patrons and staff, with a noticeable reduction in chlorine consumption.

Klear Floc

Klear Floc is a concentrated flocculent that improves filtration and reduces the organic contamination of the water. It accomplishes this by binding fine, suspended particles into larger masses that the filter can remove from the water.

HydroSan

A specialized blend of siliceous aluminate from natural clays in the Austrian Alps makes HydroSan our most powerful filtration-enhancing flocculent. The enhancing property of the clay was realized with the discovery of surprisingly pristine, clean water flowing out of a salt mine. HydroSan has been formulated to greatly enhance filtration in aquatic facilities.

MTOL+ Inline Turbidity Meter

Inline turbidity measurement is a valuable tool for a pool operator to evaluate water clarity. Keeping track of the turbidity (NTU) value of your pool/hot tub water is important to evaluate the effectiveness of the overall treatment and operation of your water treatment system.

The HF Scientific MTOL+ has an easy to read back lit display, uses a simple calibration method and has a built in ultrasonic cleaner to keep it running without the need for frequent maintenance.

Lectranator Pool Pilot Professional

Lectranator salt water chlorination systems are established in many municipal and hotel/condo swimming pools across Alberta. The Pool Pilot Professional features a single power supply that will power up to 3 CC30 cells for a total of 15 lbs/day of chlorine gas output. Multiple power supplies and rows of cells can be installed together to meet the needs of even the busiest pools.

This system can be installed in new facilities or retrofitted easily into existing facilities as safer alternative to gas chlorine.

ProMinent DCM500 or AEGIS II Water Chemistry Controller

The current generation DCM500 series (or AEGIS II) controller has several features that make this a great choice for operators who want a controller that is accurate, reliable and easy to run. Available as a single or two pool controller, the free chlorine sensor measures the chlorine residual (ppm value) for a more accurate method of chlorine dosing control. ORP is still displayed as a read only value which is valuable for assessing the effectiveness of the chlorination. No more having to constantly move your ORP set point to chase a desired chlorine reading, just pick a set point for your chlorine and the controller handles the rest. This controller can also handle dual pH outputs for facilities that take advantage of combination CO2 & acid feed equipment to achieve neutral alkalinity.

Controller settings and programming can be adjusted from the controller itself or wireless via the supplied WiFi tablet. Controller readings/settings can be checked from any device with a web browser that can connect to the controller’s network.

DesoClenz™ Filter Cleaning Process

Wapotec Filters

WAPOTEC filters are an achievement in filter design and construction. These deep bed, multi-layer filters are made in Germany to meet the strict Europen DIN performance standard and have a longer service life than conventional north american filters. The WAPOTEC filter does not have any laterals that can break and cause pool downtime, instead the filter floor is fitted with small nozzles that can be plugged if needed from the filter underside. Other innovations include a patented HYFLOW diffuser that ensures an even filter bed, and a filter view window with light so that the backwash can be monitored and flow adjusted to prevent excessive backwash flow rates resulting in filter bed disturbance and media loss.

These filters can be shipped in pieces and assembled on site for renovation projects where space is an issue
